I love this wreath because it is such a great wreath to make no matter your craft expertise. This wreath is simple yet looks AMAZING! When working with grapevine wreath forms you can change a few things on your own as you follow this tutorial.
Things like a different size wreath base could be a simple change you can do when creating your wreath. You could also use a different ribbon choice. Maybe even add a wreath sign.

How to Make a Romantic Patriotic Grapevine Wreath

14 inch wreath base
20″ Lavender Stem
1.5″ Red White Woven Check Ribbon on 50 Yard Roll
Directions
- Start by setting the parameter of your design by using some greenery pieces and pushing them into your 14 inch wreath form.
- sing your dark blue peony and start placing the heads of the flower into your wreath. First, dip the stems into your hot glue pot before placing them. You are going to place 3 sticking straight up and leaving them standing up.
- Placing your delphinium beside the blue peony you placed be sure to dip them in hot glue before placing them in the wreath. These additions are going to be sticking pretty far out of the wreath base as well.
- Add in a few more pieces of delphinium to your wreath.
- Lavender will be what we add next to this romantic patriotic wreath. Placing them on the inside of the wreath form by the Delphinium you placed already.
- Working with your red roses you can place a bud with a bloom and place them together in the top left of your wreath, right between the two blue peonies you already have set.
- Place your next two roses a little down and to the left working your way down the left side of the wreath. Making a pattern of blue peony and red roses.
- Lastly still working with your roses and a bud with a bloom add them to the bottom right side with the blue peony that is on the left bottom side of the wreath.
- Adding in more blue peony dipping the stem in the hot glue pot and place it on the inside of the wreath form on the top left.
- With your already made bow cable tie your bow on the left side a little below the middle section.
- Fill in the bare spots with some greenery, white filler flowers, and lavender pieces
- Measure out a bit of ribbon and twirl the ends up towards each other. Putting a cable tie toward the top and thread it in the top of the wreath and cinch it tight
