I love using pine cones in my winter designs. Another thing I love is creating simple things. However, you may know me by now and know that when I say simple I sometimes always end up adding more and more to these designs. Just know that it can be simple if you don’t keep adding as I do!

Ingredients
Directions
- Start with your base and lay it flat and make sure your pine tines are going in the right direction
- Take your white twig stem and create it in a way of half going up and half going down. I am changing directions with these twigs. Lay it right down the middle of your base.
- Find the middle point of your swag base and then make half of the pine tines go up, and then pull the bottom half pine tines down.
- Lay down your pinecone stem, You want to rotate two pinecones going up and one going down.
- Crisscross over two pine tines to secure your pieces together. Do this at the top half too. Then keep repeating this process till you get it all nice and secured.
- Place a cable tie to give it extra security in holding it together. Then make sure you hide your mechanics.
- Place your pre-made bow into the center securing it with a cable tie. Then place your tails through the pine tines and roll up your mesh tails.
- To hang you can add your own hanger or take a pine tine and loop around and hot glue it to make your loop. Sometimes the swag bases come with a loop to use as a hanging piece.
