Let me be clear from the very beginning with y’all. I am a sucker for all things associated with carrots and carats. Wink, wink hubby! Show me those diamonds! No, but for real, I love a cute, little carrot craft. What am I talking about… this is a BIG old carrot craft!
I love the bright oranges and greens found in this vibrant, beautiful bow. The polka-dotted burlap fabric on a grapevine base is just so much fun! Can we please mention the grass peeking out! So. Dang. Cute. I think I love this Burlap Carrot Door Hanger almost as much as I love shiny little carats that come in cute little boxes. You know, the ones that sparkle and shine when they hit the light just right! I told you guys, I love all things carrot and carats. Tell me you do too.
When I say this craft is easy, I mean easy. This Easter door hanger is just the cutest little craft that is so simple from the very start! With a premade wreath base that is this adorable, you can’t go wrong.
The size of this front door hanger makes it so perfect to hang on your door during the Easter season. You can style this up any way you like, adding some coordinating pieces here and there.
You know I love a door hanger that comes already equipped with hanging capabilities. And this my friends, totally does! It just makes crafting something like this an even quicker project than you planned on. It might take you a bit of time to make your handmade bow, but it will not take longer than 45 minutes from start to finish. Assorted Ribbons – Orange, Green, Black & White
Long Grass Bush
Zip ties
Hot Glue
Directions
- This base already comes with a hanger, so mount it up to easily work on this craft.
- Grab your premade bow of oranges, greens, and black & white ribbons with a 2-2-2-2-1 recipe for your loops. Make sure your tails are nice and long.
- Fluff your loops before determining where to attach to your base.
- With a zip tie, work your bow through the guts of your grapevine carrot base. Pull tight to secure. Curl your tails.
- Grab your long grass bush and separate it into tiny sections. Dip ends into a hot glue pot and insert into the grapevine behind your bow, It should peek out here and there. Pop them all over behind the big, full bow to add some new texture.
