This kit is one of my new faves. I LOVE all the gold details – the gold vines, the gold ears, the gold polka dots, the golden tail! Ahhhh! She is simply the most bougie bunny around! And did I mention she has a Teal and Gold Bunny twin? Oh, man. So cute. We will talk a little more about that later!
The best part about this adorable bunny is that all of your supplies are all organized for you in this handy dandy kit and assembly is not difficult at all! Kits are my favorite y’all! The fluffy bunny tail is wired, so easy movement and manipulation allow for you to show your creative side. You can determine exactly how you want this cute little bunny to look from start to finish. Creating something unique with your own little touch is so fun to me. Even more, fun when the end product is as stinking cute as this BUNNY!
This DIY Easter craft is a simple one to start with if you are new to the crafting world. Without the use of lots of florals or a bow, you can pop this project out in less than 20 minutes. Directions
- Begin with your bunny base from your kit
- Trim your stem of bunny tail to be about 2-3 inches using wire cutters.
- Attach your stem with hot glue on end.
- Push directly into the angel vine. I chose to add off to the left. You decide what you like best.
- Using wire cutters, remove some of the top section of your pick.
- Dip the end in glue, and add down below to create a full, cohesive look.
- Next grab your butterfly pick and manipulate the wings to create a look of motion.
- Trim the stem, leaving about 3 to 4 inches of length.
- Dip in glue, and pop into angel vine going the opposite direction near the recently added tail pick.
- Bam! Done. Can you believe how simple and cute she is
Are Bows Always Needed in Door Hangers?
You know me y’all. I love a good bow. Big ones, small ones, short, and long ones. But, I love that this Pink and Gold Bunny Door Hanger turned out so adorable even without a bow. Am I right? Isn’t she so cute? She does not need a bow at all. The simple wired poofy bunny tail, the whimsical balls, the beautiful butterfly, and the pops of gold are stunning without one.
