How to Make Your Angel Wing Tree Topper
The first thing you want to do to make your angel wing tree topper is grab your EZ Bow Maker. You will start by pulling your tails out to 26 inches. Now I am going to do some loops at 6 inches and repeat this three times on each side making sure I am pulling all the loops at 6 inches. I am using a 1.5 inch ribbon. Now decreasing your next set of loops to 5.5 inches you will make this a full bow by repeating them twice on each side. Finish up your bow by pulling your second tail down and cutting the bottoms towards each other.
To finish the bow we are going to repeat the same thing above but making 5 inch loops just one on each side and bringing the tails down a little shorter than the first two.
Let’s secure this bow together by using a cable tie and pulling it tight. To hide the cable tie use your mesh ribbon and fold it till it is skinny and then cover up the middle to hide your cable tie.
Now using your two stems one that is silver and one that is white. You will push one of the stems down on each one you will then lay them into each out and then crisscross the stems into each other. This allows them to go together.
Taking your angel wings zip tie it right over both of your stems.
Attach your bow a little under where your wings pop up.
To be able to attach this tree topper to your tree take your ribbon you used to tie your bow and just add a long piece and loop it over your stems. This you will use later to pull over your tree top and then secure it tight to your tree.
Zip tying your bow to your sticks/stems finishes up this easy angel wing tree topper that is so simple and easy. You can curl the tails if you wish or let them hang down on your tree.
