White Pumpkin Garland Wreath
In this video tutorial, you will learn exactly how to make a wreath from a garland using the supply list below. This is going to be a lot of fun! I will show you how freestyling your design is super fun and helps turn simple pieces into a beautiful completed wreath.
Check out Kelea’s Design School where I teach placement techniques and talk a lot about why we place items where we do in wreath making and not just how to do it. When you have the knowledge of why you place things in certain areas you will gain so much confidence in yourself when it comes to wreath designing.
You will notice in this design, I made a triangle shape with the pumpkin placement. That makes it more appealing to the eye and also helps with the balance of the wreath. You too can keep things balanced out when you are making a wreath and this is a great example of that. This is a great wreath that will bring joy to your creation.
Go have fun with flowers and spread the joy all over the world on how fun it is to design with artificial flowers.

Ingredients
Dark Green Dried Spanish Moss
Cream Pumpkin and Maple Leaves Garland
18 inch wreath base
Directions
- Start by separating your garland up into sections. For this one, I can use wire cutters to break it into sections. You are looking for points of attachment and just taking them off the long stem they are coming off of. Do this all the way down doing one section by one section.
- Set your plastic pumpkin at the bottom right so you know where they are going no need to glue it yet. Just working with my spacing. Continue placing more pumpkins around and seeing your layout.
- Next, start gluing your pumpkins down to the wreath base that you have laid out. I also place some Spanish most on top of the extra glue after gluing the pumpkins now. If your pumpkin covers where the glue is no need to use the moss.
- Using a BBQ skewer I dip it in the glue and push it into the bottom of the wreath form and push the end into the bottom of the pumpkin to help secure it to the wreath. You may need to do more than 2 but I mostly use 2 to 3. Once they are in you need to trim down the wood skewers.
- Once your pumpkins are nice and evenly distributed and secure we will start placing our greenery. Add these in by dipping the ends into hot glue and start adding them to empty spaces. Mostly adding them as close to the pumpkins as possible. Take advantage of the wired pieces and add dimension by pulling and tugging them into the direction you wish them to stand.
- Using your sunflower bush you can tear them apart and use them as individual pieces and place them first and make sure they are where you want them then come back and glue them in. This yellow really makes this wreath pop!
