Ingredients
7/8″ Squiggle Open Weave Natural Burlap Wired Ribbon
Directions
- Add your hanger first right on the top of your wreath. Grab your Mixed Daisy Pink Stem and begin to manipulate it. “Shake hands” with it so it is nice and full once you divide it out into 3 sections. Trim from your main bundle. Clean off edges where necessary.
- Save your long stems from the bundles for later use. (See below)
Create a visual plan for your design before you craft. This helps through the whole process. I will add my bow low and to the left on my wreath, so I keep that in mind add as add my florals. - Dip your first stem in hot glue and begin to shape your wreath by adding up top. Cover your glue with a bit of Spanish moss to hide mechanics and create a stronger foundation, pay attention as you add to stay in shape and in line. Stick with the principle of 3 as you add. Want to know more about that? Check out Kelea’s Design School to learn so many great tips and tricks. Continue to add, spacing to keep your line and shape.
- Fluff and fancify as you work building your look as you mirror what you do on the top and bottom. Be sure to leave your bow zone open. Manipulate your leaves so they are facing forward. This attention to detail makes your designs stand out.
- Next, let’s add your Cream Green Berry Stem. Divide it into sections, remembering to keep some nice and long. They create dimension with their wispy prettiness. Bend where needed and add them shooting through the main sections of the wreath. Dip in hot glue and work into your grapevine. Mix and match your length based on location as you add. Remember to add Spanish Moss to hide your hot glue as necessary.
- Work them in and around your wreath amongst your pink daisies. Save some pieces to use as a filler later as we wrap up. This will help you tie pieces from the background to the front. Grab your premade bow, and attach it with your cable tie. Pull tight and remove excess. Shape your tails so they flow down. Curl them to add that added detail. Keep loops full and fancy. Manipulate where necessary.
- Bring over your Mini Boho Fuschia Rose, and section them out into their 3 pieces. Shake hands before cutting with wire cutters, leaving a 2-3” stem. Add your first piece up above the bow. Have it pop out adding depth, manipulating them forward. Add another section up top above the bow. Your 3rd piece should be added below the bow, maintaining the principle of 3 again in our design.
- Bring back your remaining berries from the leftover piece and begin to deconstruct. Be sure to pay attention as you want to cut so you have berries with a leaf or 2 to help fill in where needed it. It will also add consistency and cohesion with the larger items you added earlier in the design. Be sure to add one to the center of your bow. This touch really makes your designs pop.
Why Do You “Shake Hands” with Pieces?
I pride myself on taking this very important step as a crafter. When we ship our supplies out, they get compressed for the easiest delivery and pricing. But that doesn’t take away their beauty. The reason you shake hands with each piece is to bring that true beauty back to each floral, greenery, etc. that you paid for. By taking the time to do this step, you find that it is so much more cost-effective. You will not need to use as many fillers if you fluff your pieces to begin. So get to shaking hands, folks!

Why Save the Long Stems?
I am all about saving money and reusing where I can y’all! The long stems from the main bundles from the florals are perfect to reuse as hangers for your wreaths. If they are looking a bit rough, that is ok. You can salvage them by retaping them with floral tape. For my friends making wreaths to sell at craft shows, you ALWAYS want to have hangers on your wreaths This tip will save you money in the long run and make you money, too! The hanger helps your customer know exactly how to hang it. No one wants an upside-down wreath, right?
Why Do You Swirl the Hot Glue and Never Use a Hot Glue Gun?
Ha! Doesn’t everybody do this, or is it just me? I’m a swirler every time I craft because it helps to keep those pesky flyaways from hot glue to a minimum. And when I use my hot glue, it is always from my hot glue skillet! I do not use a hot glue gun. Why? Well, when you make as many designs as I do, that continual movement can wreak havoc on your hands later on in life. And I need my hands thank you very much. So no hot glue guns. Swirls are the trick. And have fun!
Thanks so much for crafting with me today. I hope you enjoyed making this beautiful Bridgerton-inspired English Garden Wreath as much as I did. - Trim your Glitter Eye Ball Picks and add to the stryofoam. Be sure to space them for the best visual display.
- Cut and prep the White Black Chenille Curly Stems add some dimension to them by curling with your fingers to really give them life.
- Stem back and look at your your centerpiece. Are thier bald or blank spaces? Fluff you black garland to fill and use the wires in your products from Keleas.com to really get the pieces where you want them.
- Grab one of your Glitter Curly Velvet Ball Picks and trim the stem down to a couple of inches. Fluff out your pick, and then place it to the left of your bow, tucking it behind the bow to have it peek out from behind it.
