Ingredients
Directions
- Start with your two Eucalyptus Berry Stems. I chose these stems because they have a nice, sturdy branch that will act as our base.
- Begin “shaking hands” with your stems, or spread all the pieces and parts to the stem, fluffing it up to add dimension.
- Set one of your stems on top of the other, elongating the first stem and creating a nice sized swag. Attach your two stems together with two cable ties for a sturdy hold.
- Bend your lower stem to create a built-in hanger. Attach the end of the loop to the stem with another cable tie.
- Attach a big bow to the top of your swag with a cable tie. This is going to tie the piece together.
- Fluff out all the pieces of your swag, and place your bow tails as you’d like.
- Your swag is done! See? It couldn’t be easier!

Can I Customize My Swag with Different Colors and Themes?
One of the fantastic aspects of creating your own Christmas swag is the freedom to customize it. You can match your preferred colors and themes. Whether you adore the traditional red and green hues of the holiday season, opt for a chic and minimalist look with silver and white, or experiment with unique color combinations that suit your decor, the choice is yours. You can select floral stems, ribbons, and ornaments that align with your vision. This lets you craft a Christmas swag that perfectly complements your home’s festive aesthetic.
What Are the Best Places to Display a Swag in My Home?
A Christmas swag is an incredibly versatile and charming decoration that can add a festive touch to various spaces in your home. One of the most popular spots to display a swag is on your front door, offering a warm welcome to guests and passersby. You can also consider hanging it above a fireplace mantel for a cozy and traditional look. It makes for a beautiful centerpiece in the dining room when laid flat on the table or hung above it. Don’t forget about staircases, where swags can be draped along the railing for a lovely cascading effect.
