Well I knew this blog thing would be extremely difficult for me.  I am here posting again after, just a few months off.  You know where I have been, hitting the road and traveling to all the shows.  It was a wonderful season.  We met such wonderful customers, both new and old.  Thanks to all of you we will make it another year!  We want to wish you a wonderful Christmas, and Many Happy Returns in the New Year!  Good Health, Good Attitude,  Good Karma!!

Vacation is over!

My parents just returned from a much needed vacation. The were in San Diego, California. Needless to say the weather was beautiful there, as we continued to have record heat. We now have had 12 consecutive days over 100. The thermometer is exploding and so everything is drying out. The drought is expanding to cover most of Texas…Ouch! So while they were off playing I lost my wonderful baby sitter, my mom! You never know what you have until they are gone. Lets jus say I enjoyed picking her up at the airport. I really count on her so much to help my little one. We had one show in San Antonio while she was away, and It was a challenge. Now that she is back it is buckle down time. We are feverously ......

Not getting in

You may not realize but every year I must re submit my application for all the gift shows we attend.  The organization that hosts the show then decides who will attend.  The factors depend on how many vendors have the same items, booth size, previous years sales,  decorations, and others.  This year is the first time in a while that I have not got in a few shows.  I must admit that I was mad at first  As time passed I began to see that these things were happening for a reason .  One show we did not get in allowed us to attend another show that would be much easier for us to travel to.  Another show that we were put on a wait list for allowed my parents to have a ......

Fall Already

Every year it seems that the summer runs directly into fall.  I think that we should have more time before this happens.  On a quick run into Hobby Lobby, the Christmas was out.  OH My Word!  So for the first time I am trying to keep up.  The new fall and Christmas Is on the web and is hitting the show circuit.  I love the seasonal decorations and look forward to getting all the décor out.  Now that my little one is about to turn 2, I want to decorate more!  We are trying to keep up with the big box stores, but after all we don't want to be them.  We look forward the fall gift shows and helping serve our customers in every way possible.
